Aamco Transmissions has been in the transmission repair and rebuilding business for over 50 years. With their expertise, training and technical backing Aamco Provo offers complete transmission rebuilds and extended warranties that are truly nationwide at over 900 Aamcos in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. We utilize the latest in Computerized Testing Equipment and can service all makes and model vehicles.

Dave and Lorilee Wagner started the Provo Aamco six years ago. Both are both originally from Utah and both graduated from BYU. Dave received a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, and Lorilee received a BA degree in Health and Physical Education. Dave was employed for 23 years in the paper converting industry, finally ending his paper experience as Managing Director of Sherwood Tool, a paper equipment manufacturer in Kensington, CT. They decided to make an employment change and moved their family back to Utah to be closer to family and help with family concerns.

Dave has been able to use his mechanical background to help diagnosing difficult automobile repair issues and feels that his background has helped their business offer the benefit of an increased technical background and a fresh look at the way automobile repair is performed.

Aamco Provo offers competitive rates, free repair estimates, a clean shop and waiting area (including the customer bathroom) and honest, friendly service with local values.
